Gold Rush

A simple twist on the Whiskey Sour with honey and lemon flavors, created during the cocktail revival in the early 2000s .

    Ingredients

  • 2 ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 1 ounce honey syrup
  • ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice

    Preparation

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice or one large cube.
  2. In a shaker
  3. combine the whiskey
  4. honey syrup
  5. and lemon juice
  6. then fill the shaker with ice. Seal and shake for 20 seconds.
  7. Strain into the ice-filled rocks glass.
