
Pear & Rosemary Shrub Mocktail
A refreshing non-alcoholic beverage made with fresh pears, aromatic rosemary, and a tangy shrub base, perfect for any occasion.
- 2 ripe pears, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- Club soda
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
Ingredients
- In a saucepan, combine chopped pears, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes until the pears are soft.
- Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to extract the pear syrup.
- In a clean jar, combine the pear syrup with apple cider vinegar and add fresh rosemary sprigs.
- Allow the mixture to cool and then refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight for better flavor.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes, pour in 2-3 tablespoons of the pear and rosemary shrub mix, and top with club soda.
