The Shawshank Sour

A classic whiskey sour with a rich texture, inspired by hope and redemption.

    Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Ice
  • Lemon slice for garnish

    Preparation

  1. In a shaker, combine bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
  2. Dry shake to emulsify, then add ice and shake again.
  3. Strain into a coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with a lemon slice.
