Tipperary

A cocktail made with Irish whiskey, that can be modified by adding a dash of orange bitters .

    Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Irish whiskey
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • ΒΌ ounce Green Chartreuse
  • Orange peel
  • for garnish

    Preparation

  1. In a mixing glass
  2. combine the whiskey
  3. vermouth
  4. and Green Chartreuse
  5. then fill the glass three-quarters full with ice. Stir for 40 seconds.
  6. Strain into a coupe glass.
  7. Express the oils from the orange peel over the top of the drink
  8. rub the peel along the rim of the glass
  9. then drop the peel into the drink.
