
Virgin Sazerac
A non-alcoholic twist on the classic Sazerac cocktail, featuring herbal tea and anise flavors.
- 3 oz of absinthe or anise-flavored liqueur
- 1 sugar cube
- 3 dashes of Peychaud's bitters
- 3 oz of cold brewed herbal tea
- lemon twist for garnish
Ingredients
- Rinse a chilled glass with absinthe or anise-flavored liqueur and discard the excess.
- In a separate mixing glass, muddle the sugar cube and Peychaud's bitters until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the cold brewed herbal tea to the mixing glass, and fill it with ice.
- Stir well until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
