    Ingredients

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • Absinthe
  • lemon peel for garnish

    Preparation

  1. Rinse a chilled glass with absinthe and discard the excess.
  2. In a separate glass, muddle sugar and bitters.
  3. Add rye whiskey and stir well.
  4. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
